Melonkode ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, business name, email, phone, industry, business stage, requirements, budget range and messages submitted through our forms, calculator or AI copilot.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited and referral/UTM parameters, used to secure the site and understand marketing performance.
- Cookies & analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive and which forms are submitted. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes device and usage data on our behalf; it does not receive the contents of your enquiry. Where enabled, Meta Pixel measures advertising performance. - Job applications: if you apply through our Careers page we collect your name, contact details, experience, profile links, CV and anything you write to us. Only our hiring team and people we authorise can access applications, and CVs are stored privately — never on a public URL.
- Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals (browser, IP address, interaction data) only to check that a real person is submitting.
How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare proposals.
- To provide and improve our services and this website.
- To send service communications; marketing messages only where permitted, with an easy opt-out.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse.
AI copilot
Questions you type into the AI Business Copilot are stored to improve answers and may be processed by our AI provider. Please do not enter sensitive personal, financial or health information.
Legal basis
We process your data with your consent (for example when you submit a form) and for legitimate uses permitted by law, such as responding to your request and keeping the website secure.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — hosting, email, Google (analytics), Cloudflare (spam protection), AI and CRM providers — under appropriate safeguards, or when required by law. Some providers may process data outside India.
Retention & security
Enquiry data is kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we become clients (then for the duration of the engagement and as required by law). Job applications are kept for up to 12 months so we can consider you for future roles, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings (up to 14 months). We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls and regular reviews to protect your data.
Children
This website is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Your rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing hello@melonkode.com. We handle requests in line with applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Grievances
For any privacy concern or complaint, contact our grievance team at support@melonkode.com. We aim to respond within 7 days and resolve within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
